He was not keeping well and was admitted to a hospital in Chennai.
According to hospital sources Goundamani suffered from breathing problems. After hearing rumors of his death, many celebrities and friends rushed to the hospital.
Hospital sources have yet to confirm whether he is alive or not. But unconfirmed reports suggest that the actor is in stable condition.
