We knew it was approaching. It was only a question of when the launch will happen – and it twisted out to be 2 March 2010. Nokia has finally announced the launch of a new series with the start of the C5, the latest S60-based smartphone, which focuses on social networks.
The C-series is newest addition to Nokia’s family of campaign that bear a clear and easily comprehensible naming gathering to ‘X’, ‘E’, and ‘N’ series already on the market.
The corresponding figures from 1 to 9, reflecting the variety of functions offered and the estimated prices of tools – 1 being the lowest and 9 being the highest.
The new C-series is the center of Nokia’s portfolio, which focuses on social communication between friends and family.
Nokia C5 offers the latest Ovi Maps with free time and run the direction-finding, including position shared with Facebook friends.
The nifty device for measuring a modest over 12 mm thick and 46mm across (and 112mm high).
Battery life is high-quality for up to 12 hours talk time (GSM), and it will be in gameness for a whopping 26 days between charges.
Nokia C5 will be obtainable in white and warm gray.
Other features include a 3.2 megapixel camera, memory development and full support for Ovi Mail Messages Ovi and Nokia Maps. With microSD card support, you can make bigger the memory up to 8GB. The phone comes with 2 GB card.
C5 has been priced at $ 182 (Rs. 8400) in the European markets and will rapidly be made available in India.
