2010, 3rd edition of the IPL Indian Premier League starting March 12, 2010, the opening ceremony of the tournament will be shown live on YouTube.The first game will follow the opening ceremony and will see the defending champions, Deccan Chargers take on the team which had finished last, Kolkata Knight Riders.
Here are the major attractions of the IPL 2010 opening ceremony:
1)Honoring of all 8 teams in the IPL.
2)Performances from Ali Campbell, Bjorn Again, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone and pop star Lionel Ritchie with a wide variety of backup dancers.
3)IPL’s save environment will be shown solidarity by captains as they sign the globe made of eco-friendly material.
The IPL 2010 opening event is going to be a visual extravaganza showcasing artists not only from India but many other performers from the international arena. There will be glitter, glamour, drama and loads of fun at the opening ceremony of season 3 IPL 2010.
The IPL opening ceremony is scheduled to be held at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai on 12th March 2010.
