Ugadi festival is very well-liked in the southern tip of India. Ugadi is a new year for Telugu and Kannada group of people celebrated in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh correspondingly.
Ugadi is celebrated every year diverse, because the Hindu calendar is a lunisolar. Ugadi falls on Chaitra month or in March or April.
Ugadi is the first day of the New Year. The same festival is celebrated on the same day as Gudi Padwa celebrating people Maharashtra.
