Auto major Fiat India, expects to double its revenue this year of 50,000 units, compared with 24,000 units sold last year, a top company official said.
“The number of consumers in the mutual part is rising in India and we desire to exploit the chance. We expect to double our sales from 24,000 units to 50,000 units in December this year,” Fiat India President and Chief Executive Officer Rajeev Kapoor, said Monday.
The new 1.2 L gasoline-fired Punto comes in two variants – Fire Punto Dynamic and Punto feelings, and is priced at Rs 4.57 lakh and Rs 4.87 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), correspondingly, during the clash for the B Plus combined section to a new height.
“The combined segment has knowledgeable a 50 percent enlargement last year. The fact is 60 percent of all car sales in this group, and we have 5.5 percent market share now,” said Kapoor, adding: “We are now looking to double it.
The Italian carmaker reported a 78.38 percent jump in February sales of 2,335 units.
