In the rapid growth of international education, and offer the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) a new outlook in educational counseling, scholarship maintain and help professional discourse between the U.S. and India.

USIEF is committed to promoting discourse on issues of modern importance plus the Fulbright and communities. USIEF features visiting and returning Fulbright at seminars and roundtables, providing forums for communication with civil society through joint discussions and facilitate better communication during e-enabled media.
USIEF was traditional under a bilateral union on educational trade signed between India and the United States, February 2 1950th The 4th July 2008 signed the U.S. Ambassador David C. Mulford and Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon a famous new Fulbright agreement, making them equal partners , thus rise educational exchanges between India and the United States. USIEF administered by a bi-national board of directors consists of ten members, five Americans – chosen by the U.S. Ambassador and five Indians – recognized by the Government of India. U.S. Ambassador to India and Indian Foreign Minister’s Honorary Presidents USIEF Board.
USIEF has well-known priorities for future development with careful and planned.USIEF continue to explore practical ways the Foundation can respond to requirements from both Indian and American universities are interested in associations. It continues to reach out to underserved regions and communities.
USIEF make the following main activities:
1) Administration of Fulbright-Nehru and other Fulbright Fellowships for Indian and American students, teachers and professionals.
2) Promote conversation among Fulbright and their communities as an product of educational exchange.
3) Educational Consulting Services for students involved in running higher education in the U.S.
4) In India manages USIEF the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP) and home to the Indo-US Science & Technology meeting and the U.S. India Business Council (USIBC).

I am a founder-teacher, retired as Principal of Chandigarh College of Architecture, which was established as the Academic Wing of the Great Chandigarh Experiment in Modern Urbanism at the behest of Le Corbusier, 20th-century’s greatest architect. I hold three PhDs, with an M. Arch. on Nek Chand Rock Garden which I made known worldwide through my research thesis and numerous writings published in India and abroad. I was awarded two-year Senior Fellowship by the Government of India for the study of historical monuments of Sikh Architecture. This formed the basis of my Third PhD.
