The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is published annually by Sports Illustrated. It features fashion models wearing swimwear in exotic locales. Inclusion is considered a stick by which supermodels are measured. In addition, the issue is a media nexus that in 2005 carried $35 million in advertising. New issues come out around the middle of February or later. First published in 1964, it is credited with making the bikini, invented in 1946, a legitimate piece of apparel. The issue that got the most letters was the 1978 issue.The best selling issue was the 25th Anniversary Issue with Kathy Ireland on the cover in 1989.

Julie travels to photo shoots all over the world. When she comes home to her apartment in New York’s financial district, “I like just keeping house and spending time with my family and friends.” “I’m always open to new adventure,” she said. “I’m starting a skincare line based on the Henderson grapefruit. My grandfather was a grapefruit farmer in South Texas. He discovered a new type of ruby-red grapefruit — it’s now called the Henderson grapefruit. It’s actually more of a pink color that deep red.” Her line doesn’t have a name or launch date yet. But Julie is pretty sure the first product .

Why wait for February? A Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue editor is on location in an unnamed Asian paradise and is tweeting photos of returning models Bar Refaeli, Brooklyn Decker and two unnamed “rookie” swimsuit models.
