Gwalior: the stage is set for the “second” show in Gwalior as Indian and South African team arrived here on Monday for the second ODI.
It was 13:30 when the teams landed here, and also to their individual hotels. The Indians are at Usha Kiran Palace Hotel and South African players on the Central Park Hotel.
A slim one run victory over South Africa in the first ODI apart from Indian confidence will be high going into the second leg in the sunrise because of their extraordinary results on the Captain Roop Singh Stadium.
The hosts have won seven of the nine ODI’s, they have played here, including one touching South Africa when they overcome the visitors by 38 runs at a 45 over-a-side match on 12 November 1991.
The second ODI planned for Wednesday 24 February, the teams have taken a day off practice. The Indian team determination hold its training in the morning Tuesday, February 23, while South Africans have net-meeting this daylight.
India is the head of the three-match ODI series by 1-0 after winning by a run in the first ODI in Jaipur.
