Wes Welker had a knee injury during the Patriots vs.. Texans football game this morning. Wes Welker was not even hit or anything. I just fell and held his knee. They are now examining what exactly went wrong.
Just after taking a pass from quarterback Tom Brady, Welker can be seen stepping awkwardly on his left leg before he is tackled to the field by Bernard Pollard. The short pass and run gave the Patriots a 12-yard gain, however Welker was helped off the field and later carted off to the locker room.
