The Afghan capital has been put on alert after one of the most corresponding attack in Kabul since the Taliban was impassive from power by a US-led attack in 2001. Public buildings and ambassadorial offices in Kabul is heavily carrying weapons, but a series of attacks in the past year, including one that killed five foreign UN employees at a guesthouse, emphasizes the city’s defenselessness. February last year, attackers stormed the Ministry of Justice and other public buildings and the Taliban have mounted a similar commando raids in other cities.
