KIIT (Kalinga First Institute of Industrial Technology), IIT University in 1992 only one industrial training institute with 12 students and 2 faculties as established. The institution Pradyumna Bal, Dr.Achyuta Samanta, Dr. Mishra and Dr. PK was the brainchild CR Mishra, one in India with the foundation of education and KIIT released so intense was the center line. In 1997, the School of Technology and Computer Application [the school] was established.
Awarded university status in 2004 was the youngest institution in India to be achieved university status and Limca Book of Records entered. Biotechnology, Rural Management, School of Medicine and School of KIIT School of Law School was started in 2007. in 2009, five new schools, mass communication, design, film study and management of tourism and hospitality school school school school school of sculpture has been established.
The KIIT School of Technology offers undergraduate programs in seven distinct streams which includes; Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering.
Dr. Singh inaugurated the IEA Conference in presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik. The conference is being organized and hosted by KIIT School of Management, KIIT University from 27th to 29th December 2009. About 3000 delegates along with their family members would be participating in this conference whichy ultimately boost the tourism expose to the state. The conference is one of the largest gatherings of academicians, economists and researchers in the country.

Hi friend! I m student of kiit university……I wants to tell u somethings real about kiit university…..
There are only 35%(B tech),4%(MCA),10%(MBA) placement record. So i wants to inform you that -please don’t take admition here if you wants great placement record….
At that time there are 4 company visited and only 124 students are selected where there are only 13 students from MCA. And also the strength of a mca class is 164(A sec + B sec)(3rd year) and 229(A sec+B sec).
The placement record of MCA is very bad.Current situation is that there are 4-5 companies visited and only 13 selected by TCS and non from any others.
So what you think….. I got repend……
