Aero smith lead singer Steven Tyler launched with a cappella versions of some of the bands major hits – like “Dude Looks Like a Lady” and “I Do not Want To Miss A Thing” – the speaker of the California Home Depot store this weekend.

A source tells TMZ: “Steven ales swallowed a few mouthfuls of gas from a helium machine for blowing up balloons, kept singing in a high-pitched Bee Gees style. He was very relaxed even, and fortunately, signed autographs for everyone who asked.
The troubled star is currently on hiatus from Aero smith after a rocky few months with the group. He went into rehab last month to seek treatment for abuse of painkillers, which comes from years of orthopedic injuries.

The other members of the group have said they are looking for a replacement, but have no idea whether it will be permanent or not. Guitarist Joe Perry said: “We need to find someone to come in there and fill in this field. We want to play Aero smith songs. Maybe we’re doing five shows, maybe we’ll do 20 performances, I do not know. And hopefully, once Steven returns .
Steven’s impromptu performance was not the first time he has exercised his vocal chords in public recently. Earlier this month, he allegedly showed up at a karaoke bar in Palm Springs, California, where he met locals in a rendition of “I Do not Want To Miss A Thing.” Mike “DJ Kermis” May, who hosted the event, said: “Suddenly, near the end of the song, Steven grabbed the microphone and began singing. All bar surrounded him, he just started singing everything. Karaoke will never be better than that. ”
