Robert Rines who was really a man kind of multi talented and really much more educated person who was a lawyer, composer, inventor and physicist whose discoveries led to sharper resolution in radar, sonar and ultrasound imaging have died aged 87. On Sunday in Boston Rines died of heart failure at his home, surrounded by his family.
Rines invented prototype radar and sonar technology that was later also used for ultrasound imaging of internal organs later.
