The Bears lost a heart breaking season opener to their hated division rivals, the Green Bay Packers. Bears linebacker Brian Urlacheris expected to undergo surgery early Monday morning after dislocating his right wrist in Sunday‘s 21-15 loss to the Packers. He was ruled out after halftime. That wasn’t all that was bad.
When ask about his standing Monday, Urlacher assumed in a message that his “season is over.” It wasn’t obvious which play Urlacher was injured on, but he left on Green Bay’s first drive of the second half on Sunday night. Team officials had no other details about the injury or on his possible return.
