Now Picasa 3.5, new version available with name tags and more

I am very pleased to announce Picasa 3.5, a new version of our free image editor software. This version allows you to add names to take the picture, uses the same facial recognition technology that runs nameplates on Picasa Web Albums.
Picasa 3.5, now with name tags and more

Name plate is designed to help you organize your photos of what matters most: the people in them. Picasa find similar faces and put them in an “Unnamed People” album. From here you can simply add a name tag, click on “Add a name” and type the name of the person. Once you’ve added name tags to any images, you can use your tags to do creative things that can quickly find all photos with the same two people in them, making a face collage with just one click, or upload and share albums with friend’s people.
